October started out with Conference weekend. We were all downstairs watching together, when Henry went upstairs and locked us downstairs! By the time we could shimmy Jack out the basement window, Henry had done this:
That's right. He had found a can of spray paint and spray painted our car, our freezer, and the inside door to the basement! Luckily, Matt googled how to get the paint off the car, and it came right off!

All worn out from a tough day of causing trouble!
We took the kids to Spruce Knob, highest point in West Virginia, to enjoy some fall foliage
Grandma and Grandpa Flake came around my birthday for a little visit. We took them to Cooper's Rock, the Fork's Restaurant, and other fun outings. Then, Matt and I went to Parkersburg for a Conference/ my birthday. Thanks so much for staying with them, Mom and Dad
We went cabin camping at Herrington Manor near Deep Creek, Maryland. It was frigid!
Joel threw Matt's phone into the foliage in front of the cabin as a sort of "drop test". Unfortunately, they spent all day looking for it and never found it.
Matt took the boys to a shooting range
And that brings us to Halloween--the best time of the year!
