Easter 2011

The first part of Easter weekend was so fun! Matt took me on a little getaway to Deep Creek, MD to a fancy hotel. We hot tubbed, swam, played racquetball, worked out, went to a fancy gourmet dinner, went to a movie, and so much more! It was very fun.

In the meantime, the kids were with Grandma Malone. We got back to WV in time for the Easter festivities. I didn't take any pictures of the great food, the fun family times or the Easter baskets. I did manage to get a few of the kids in their Easter outfits.

A Short List

I think I fell off the blogging bandwagon. I will catch up quickly with a short list:

1. It has been raining, snowing, sleeting, and hailing. Mostly raining.

I'm sure you can imagine how many times a day mud gets tracked into my house.

2. Merrody and Joel completed their first Science Fair projects. They each chose something that interested them a lot. I think it was a good experience for them.

3. Jack learned how to read! Either he has a great preschool teacher or an amazing Mom, but he just started sounding words out and reading all of the sudden a few weeks ago. He will be all ready to start kindergarten this fall.

4.Norah is a total diva. She changes her clothes 100 times a day and insists on wearing my heels all around the house.
