June 2016

Matt got to drive out with us on our trip to Idaho this year.  We left at 4am the first day, and drove all the way to his old area on his mission, Atlantic, Iowa.  He was excited to see the old chapel!

The next day, we stayed at Bethany's, and then on to Rexburg the next day to see BYU-Idaho and visit our nephew, Hyrum.

We took him to an old favorite restaurant and toured campus a little.  It has changed so much since when I lived there!  I almost couldn't find my old house!

After that, we went and stayed a few days with Joel and Melanie and visited my parents and Haley and Greg, too.
Preston's my favorite nephew because he was so helpful with Henry!

While we were there, Joely got to go to Aaronic Priesthood Camp with his cousins, and Jack got to go to cub scout day camp with Emery.  The both loved it!

We even got to spend a night at Joel and Melanie's beautiful Tamarack home.  Fun hike and breathtaking views!

We also got to be there for Haley's baby's blessing.  Little Abigail is so cute!

The next week, we drove to Provo, Utah, for the kids to go to BYU camps.  We stopped by Bethany's house in Bountiful for a fun family dinner!

Then, Matt went home, and it was time for camps!  Merrody went to EFY with her boy cousins and loved it!  Joel went to swim camp, Jack to football camp, and Norah to soccer camp.

In the meantime, we hung out at the hotel, and did a bunch of fun stuff with the family.  We went to the Provo Rec Center, some of the kids hiked the Y with Melanie and Kelsey, some people went to Seven Peaks, and we all went on a fun tour of Dillon's Greenhouse.

The final week, we moved over to Bethany's house.  We took Merrody on a pretty drive overlooking the Bountiful temple one night.

That week, Merrody and Eden went to swim camp.  They loved it!

We had a great time at Bethany's--so great that I hardly took any pictures!
We took this one, though!
I drove all the way home with the kids in two days!  Not too bad!

And then it was back to regular life, which mostly has consisted of swim and endless basement remodel headaches!  Let July be the month they are finished!

Sun In.  Need I say more?
