February was the month we celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary

We celebrated with a trip to the Big Apple!

The first day, we drove to Lewes, Delaware, and stayed on the coast.  The bay was beautiful!

The next morning, we got up and drove to NYC.  We had so much fun going on a cool food tour, shopping, eating, and going to the top of the Empire State Building.  It was FRIGID, but still really fun!

The next day was our niece, Noel's, wedding.  Again, SO COLD! but also beautiful and very nice.  What a beautiful bride.  They were so in love!

 We had a great time hanging out with Matt's family.

Meanwhile, Grandma and Grandpa Flake were in West Virginia with our lucky kids!

 Both sets of Grandparents were able to make it to our home for Joel's ordination to the Aaronic Priesthood the night after we got home.  Joel was so excited!

After a brutal couple of months of winter, it finally warmed up around here this week.  The kids are in heaven.  This is what this evening looked like:

Also, last weekend we took the kids to Helvetia, West Virginia.  It's a cool authentic Swiss Village that was started by Swiss immigrants in the 1800s.  The kids were fascinated by the paper mache masks they had hanging in their general store, so we made some of our own at home!
