Naples 2015 Top Ten

We had such a great spring break!  Matt's parents invited us to spend it with them at their condo in Naples, Florida.  We love Naples and haven't been able to make a trip since Jack was a baby.  It was so nice to be warm and relax for a little while!  Here are the top ten highlights:

10. The condo had a pool!  The kids were in that pool every spare second.  Norah made great strides towards becoming a real swimmer!  (Joel also learned the hard way what happens when you dive into the shallow end of the pool--notice the scabs around his mouth in future pics)

9.  Lizards.  Leave it to my boys to spend the entire trip chasing after and catching those little buggers!  Also, FYI:  they bite!

8.  The Naples Botanical Gardens.  They were gorgeous with all kinds of flowering plants.  They also had a special display of life-size robotic dinosaurs!  The kids loved them!  Some would even roar or spit (water) at you!

7.  The Naples Zoo.  Alligators and lions, a boat ride and a camel ride!  The kids loved it all!

6.  A Saturday evening Easter egg hunt.  All of the eggs were empty, which suited me just fine!  The kids still had fun!

5.  General Conference at the condo.  Henry loves President Uchtdorf as much as the rest of the church does!

4.  Walks with Grandma.  There are so many beautiful trails in and around Naples!

3.  The Beach!  Need I say more?

2.  Jet skiing.  Matt, Ben, and I rented jet skis near the Gulf of Mexico.  When we got out there, we saw a bunch of dolphins just swimming around right by us!  They were so close!  It was amazing.  Definitely my highlight.

1.  Family pictures! Ben asked me what would have to happen for me to have a good time on our trip.  Can you guess my answer?

It was such a fun trip!  We loved it so much.  Thanks, Mom and Dad!
