Weekenders

I know I promised house pics a long time ago, but I still haven't taken any. We are moved in, though! What a relief! Now we can get back to the business of enjoying summer! The last couple of weekends have been pretty fun. Fourth of July weekend took us home to Morgantown to visit Matt's family. There was hiking, eating, boating, and 1/2 game of Settlers. Oh, and fireworks, of course!

All of the kids love their cousins, but the absolute highlight of the trip was seeing Clayre and Norah become really great friends. So cute!

Cheat Lake has to be one of the most beautiful lakes ever! We all got to spend a little quality time with the Buzz Bomb! Be sure to double click on the one of Matt to see how much he's enjoying it!

The next weekend we took the kids on a little camping trip to our favorite spot, Blue Knob State Park. It's just close enough that we actually didn't decide we were going for sure until 6pm on Friday night! Then we loaded up and headed out there!

We roasted hot dogs, made s'mores and hunted for creepie crawlies.

It's all fun and games until Jack falls into the fire and burns his arm real bad!

Believe it or not, he didn't cry too much! It was a pretty cool night for July, so we slept great in our big tent.

We woke up bright and early the next morning.

We went for a little hike before we headed home.

I never get tired of the Pennsylvania countryside!
